iPhone 15 Price, Specifications and Release Date

iPhone 15: The iPhone 12 is available in four different sizes. The iPhone 12 comes in two sizes: a 6.1-inch and a 5.4-inch small. There are two Pro versions available: a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch Max. The iPhone 15 is expected to be the same.

However, the iPhone 15 is expected to ditch the small variant in favour of a more affordable Max model. As a result, there will be two 6.1-inch iPhones (normal and Pro) and two 6.7-inch iPhones Max (regular and Pro). This is great news for people who desire the bigger Max size but can’t justify the 82,000 Rs price tag. According to speculations, it may also be available in a new titanium finish rather than stainless steel. The volume buttons may also revert to their previous circular design, which was last seen on the iPhone 5s.

We haven’t heard any particular rumours regarding an always-on display in the iPhone 15, but given it was extensively rumoured for the iPhone 15 and didn’t materialise, we’re guessing it’ll be delayed until next year.

iPhone 15 Camera

The iPhone 15’s camera is expected to undergo significant modifications. Apple is reportedly exploring a 48MP sensor for the conventional wide camera, which would combine the pixels’ light gathering in a 22 grid when in low-light situations, according to Kuo (producing a 12MP photo). At least on the Pro versions, the camera is said to be capable of capturing 8K video.

A new periscope telephoto camera, with optical magnification up to 10x, is also said to be reserved for the Pro versions. Similar cameras have been found on other phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

iPhone 15 Performance, battery, and biometrics

The Pro models of the iPhone 13 are rumoured to have 120Hz ProMotion screens produced by Samsung, while the non-Pro models are said to have normal 60Hz displays made by LG. LG is rumoured to be producing LPTO OLED screens capable of 120Hz for the whole iPhone range with the iPhone 15. So it’s likely that the full iPhone 15 line will include 120Hz ProMotion technology, which would be in keeping with Apple’s natural rhythm of initially introducing a feature to the Pro model and then rolling it out to the rest of the line a year later.

Every new iPhone has a new A-series system-on-chip (SoC), which we expect the iPhone 15 to have as well. The A16, as it is expected to be known, might be one of the first large-scale processors to employ TSMC’s 3-nanometer manufacturing process, which should enhance performance, efficiency, and battery life.

Mark Gurman, echoing earlier reports, stated in his Power On email that Apple is testing an iPhone with an in-display Touch ID sensor that may come to the Pro models, based on a rumour by Ming-Chi Kuo. Apple, on the other hand, is “all-in on Face ID for its higher-end iPhones,” with the eventual objective of “implementing Face ID in the display itself,” according to him. That aligns with Prosser’s report of an iPhone 15 without a notch, however Gurman hasn’t indicated if the notch would be retained in the 2023 iPhone.

iPhone 15 Release date and price

Apple launches new iPhones every autumn, usually announcing them in September and releasing them two to four weeks later. We haven’t heard anything to suggest that things will be different in 2023.

The iPhone 15 models’ pricing will likely differ from previous iPhones in that there isn’t expected to be a 5.4-inch small version, instead opting for a lower-priced 6.7-inch Max size, which Kuo claims may cost around 67,000 Rs. With that in mind, we anticipate the portfolio to cost between 60,000 R. and 75,000 Rs, depending on the model and size.
